Our children, Colette and Jasper, are going to Cuba to dance with the Ballet Nacional de Cuba this summer! We will all be in Havana, Cuba for 2 and a half weeks leaving July 27th and returning August 12th of this year. The ballet school is very generous to allow our kids to dance there and learn classical ballet technique in the Cuban style.
We know that the ballet school has difficulty finding all the proper ballet clothes for their young students, and we would like to take leotards, boy ballet belts and any other ballet attire needed. If you or your dance student has leotards that don’t fit anymore, any unused tights or ballet shoes, please let me know at (505) 490-2830 and I can take them to Cuba with us. We are collecting any and all items dancers would like to donate to the school.
